In the Event of a Death

The funeral director will contact a cemetery sexton. If you have not purchased a grave, the sexton will meet with you to help you select a grave site that meets your needs. The sexton will mark the grave for interment or inurnment.

02

Burial Policies

  • One full burial is allowed per grave.

  • Following a full burial, four cremation burials are also allowed on that grave.

  • A maximum of four cremation burials are allowed per grave.

  • Concrete vaults or grave liners are required for all full burials.

  • Cemetery lots are easements with burial privilege, but do not constitute property ownership. As such, they may not be re-sold and are non-refundable.

  • It is the family's responsibility to inform the sexton with updated contact and ownership information.

  • Burials are offered throughout the year; however, the family is responsible for additional expenses associated with winter burials.

  • Any additional upkeep to the grave area (filling, seeding, sodding, mowing, etc.) will be the responsibility of the cemetery.

03
